2019 RECRUITMENT TOOL FOR CUBS & TROOPS BSA FOR GIRLS!

Geofencing is a location-based service that is used to notify audiences of relevant messages to the target audience via Facebook. Ex: When moms drive within a 2-mile radius of the event location, within two weeks of the event, they receive an invitation on Facebook on their smart device. Once geofencing has begun, it is not possible to change event information, so please be sure to submit accurate information.

FOR MORE INFORMATION ON GEOFENCING AND THE REGISTRATION PROCESS CLICK HERE.

Note: We need at least two weeks of lead time to properly promote your event.

If your Unit commits to $7 of geofencing to promote your Unit's sign-up night, the Council will match your commitment. This gives you at least $14 of geofencing promotion.

All you have to do is click on the registration button and provide the following:

  • District

  • Unit No (This is currently only for Packs and Troops BSA for Girls)

  • When is the event (Date and time)

  • Where is the event

The Council will:

  • Set up the Facebook Promotion on the Council Facebook Page

  • Set the appropriate size, length and demographics for your area

This is for Unit based sign-ups (open house) only! This is not for the School Open Houses, these are already promoted in your community. For multiple events you will have to complete the registration process each time.

Why Do It?

Units that have participated in geofencing promotion have had more families attend their Unit sign up night, and in turn have had larger recruitment.
